The school was founded in I 975 as a technical nursing high school and became a nursing school in 1988. The 3 year curriculum arms to provide students with basic nursing knowledge, technical skills and a good humanities background. The practical nursing training is carried out at Kasumigaura Hospital of Tokyo Medical University. There is also a dormitory for the use of the students.
