Our library has branches in all four campuses. The main library in the hospital is focused mainly on the clinical archive materials while the library branch in the main campus contains mainly premedical and preclinical materials, whereas the Kasumigaura Hospital and the Hachioji Medical Center branch libraries are also focused more on clinical medicine. Thus the four units reflect the academic and clinical environment in which they are placed.

The main branch of the library in the hospital places special emphasis on the collection of medical and biomedical journals which provide the basis for medical information and medical informatics. The library contains various databases covering from the latest medical information available in medical journals to materials for study and research references. Mastering the use of these databases facilitates study and provides effective methods to improve one's abilities as a doctor . These facilities are being made full use of by many students and young investigators.
