Diploma Policy
- Has acquired the ability to investigate issues in the field of nursing.
- Has acquired practical nursing skills based on advanced specialized knowledge and techniques.
- Has acquired the fundamental research ability of scientifically analyzing issues in the field of nursing, and communicating the findings.
- Has acquired the fundamental teaching ability of fostering the next generation of nursing professionals.
- Has acquired the ability to apply the obtained knowledge and techniques to the solving of issues in practical settings, for the improvement of nursing quality.
Curriculum Policy
The curriculum will be divided into the following four areas based on nursing characteristics, each with courses designed to develop nursing expertise in the respective fields: “Basic nursing”, “Nursing for children’s and women’s health”, “Recuperation support nursing”, and “Community nursing”.
“Advanced Nurse Specialist Courses” will be offered, wherein students who have completed the “Research Courses”, which develop nursing professionals who use their fundamental research ability to contribute to nursing practice or education as clinical nurses, or who will in the future become independent educational researchers, will be able to obtain qualification as a Certified Nurse Specialist by passing the respective exam for qualification.
The following three categories of courses will be offered: “Common Basic Courses”, “Specialized Courses”, and “Research Courses”. “Common Basic Courses” and “Specialized Courses” will be offered during the first semester of the first year, and all three categories of courses will be offered during the second semester of the first year and beyond.
- “Common Basic Courses” consist of courses that cultivate the foundation for fundamental research ability, fundamental teaching ability, and advanced practical nursing skills.
- “Specialized Courses” consist of courses that integrate the learning covered in “Common Basic Courses” with the specialized knowledge and techniques specific to each area, and deepen the students’ understanding.
- “Research Courses” consist of courses that cultivate fundamental research ability, which contributes to improvement of nursing quality, based on the learning covered in “Common Basic Courses” and “Specialized Courses”.
- “Advanced Nurse Specialist Courses” consist of courses that develop the knowledge, techniques, and other expertise necessary for becoming Certified Nurse Specialists.
Admission Policy

- Individuals who possess knowledge and practical ability in specialized fields of nursing science.
- Individuals who possess fundamental knowledge of research, and the capacity to think logically.
- Individuals who possess the ability and educational foundation to view phenomena from a broad perspective.
- Individuals aiming to contribute to the improvement of nursing quality in the future as clinical nurses, researchers, or educators.
