Principle, Goals and Fundamental Policy about Education

Principles

This program was developed with the aim of providing our students with the highly specialized knowledge and skills required for a career in their chosen field. This is to be achieved through systematic study of a wide range of subjects together with coursework. In line with our admission policy, the student can expect to engage in high level learning and research. They will be expected to study and research both the theory and application of medicine with the aim of developing new knowledge. This program is aimed at nurturing individuals who can contribute to the development of medicine through work on the global stage; researchers rich in humanity who can contribute to the welfare of mankind. Our goal is to foster researchers and leaders through a holistic approach to education.

Educational Goals

  1. The ability to conduct independent research in line with the highest ethical standards.
  2. The ability to conduct highly specialized cutting-edge research in response to the demands of an ever-changing world.
  3. The ability to contribute to regional and global health, medicine, and welfare through research.
  4. The ability to promote the development of high-level medicine based on the results of research.
  5. The ability to work with other researchers both domestically and internationally and report the results of such work.

Fundamental Policy

The program is divided into three areas: first, cross-disciplinary study, which forms the basis of all research; second, course work, where students will be expected to work and share information with students from other specialties who are conducting similar research, while deepening their knowledge through pursuit of their own studies; and third, specialist subjects. Through this comprehensive approach to study, students will acquire the deep knowledge and highly specialized research skills required to pursue their chosen career and push that field forward.
