This is the site where Tokyo Medical University came into existence. The administration is centered around the statues of the founder , Takuya Takahashi and Hippocrates. It contains the lecture hall for basic medicine and premedical humanities, laboratories, seminar rooms, a branch of the main library which is located in the hospital, collaborative research facilities (electron microscopy room, radioisotope laboratory, animal experiment center), memorial building (gymnasium), WHO Collaborative Center, School of Nursing, and athletic fields. Close by is the student dormitory.
