Shinya Kusakari

Research theme

I investigate the molecular mechanism of neuronal cell death caused by genetic mutations in CHCHD10, a causative factor of ALS/FTD, and Progranulin, a causative factor of FTD, using cultured cells and genetically modified mouse such as transgenic mouse. I would like to incorporate engineering methods into my analysis in the future.
